At the end of Econ 107 Antitrust Policy, Prof Bernotas blamed on students that all of us care about the objective too much, we chase grade, asking for solution without thinking.
He is right, sometimes in order to achieve the goal, we forgot what makes it meaningful is the process. We want to get a job so we take education, we want to get an A so we focus on question which probably show up on the exam. We simply gave up the meaningful part which is to think, to understand. We are all always afraid of what we pay is less than what we get.
We don't do anything in purpose, like love, when the result turns out sucks and hurt, at least the process let us realize we had loved someone in our life.
We are just born to die. Life is much easier when we think in a more simple way.
