Love is complicated. 2 years ago, a professor asked how would we describe love, and he said love is a rose.
How would you define love? Love is the most complicated, abstracted idea in the world. We are never able to find a adjective or a set of adjectives to describe it well. It's far away above "like, adore", it is sweet but also bitter, seems clear but contradicted.
Appearance, background, talent they are all just elements to let you start paying attention of a person. At the end you may love a person because of a bunch of past continuos circumstance or events which occur with a extremely small probability that will never be able to happen with another one again. That happiness, is such a chemical effect that can be made by only me and you. We decide to stay in this relationship because we want it to happen again in our future.
Being rational to talk how to love is the biggest mistake because love is perceptual. With love I can give up anything because that's the only thing worth me to live. If you ask me how to define love, I may still not able to find out the suitable answer, but I know I do love you.
